Brothers & Sisters in Jesus/Family & Friends,
Greetings in Jesus’ name. I hope this update comes at a time you are in good health and have abundant provision. God is our source, not the government.
While I’m here working, it is easier to lose sight of the eternal plans and purposes and strategies that the Lord has in mind for all of us. All things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose. (Rom. 8:28) He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. (Phil. 1:6) Elisha asked the wife of a son of the prophets who was about to lose her 2 sons as slaves to pay a debt, saying, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” The wife told him there was nothing but a jar of oil there. So that one thing she had in the house became the means of resolving her whole financial struggle. God is well able to do seemingly impossible things very quickly to put things in order for any and all of us as we seek Him. So don’t be discouraged if it seems to be taking a long time for struggles to be resolved, regardless of the nature of the struggle. God can resolve our issues for us very quickly.
In that spirit, please pray for us to come into the open door that the Lord has for us to bring us into the fulfillment of His calling for us in Brazil. Working a job is a good foundation for us, but having an open door that facilitates visions from Him coming to pass is a much bigger and more strategic place to be in. God has His callings for all of us, but if somehow we are kept from fulfilling those callings, there can be big frustration. So please pray that the Lord will give us great wisdom from Him that facilitates fulfilling our calling.
We are still not receiving offerings for financial support, especially while I am working here in the US. But please pray for this request of great wisdom from the Lord for us.
