Brothers & Sisters in Jesus/Family & Friends,
Here we are late in the month of June. I hope you are all doing well and that the Lord is blessing all that you do. Praise the Lord, for He is good. And His lovingkindness endures forever and ever. It is always good to give thanks to the Lord in all circumstances. The sacrifice of praise should always come out of our mouths. That is part of our priestly responsibility before the Lord. (Heb. 13:15)
Thank you for your prayers and support. Paul received support from the church in Philippi even though he wouldn´t receive support from many other churches. So for me, Paul´s relationship with the church in Philippi is the best example of the relationship I should have with churches in regard to “giving and receiving.´´ (Phil. 4:15) In the context of what he wrote to them, he wrote of being content. So this is a good example. Also, the Lord rewards us in our giving.
This month was another slow month in which we didn´t do much ministry. There was a change in some rules for entry into the Detention Homes, so we needed to go to the administrative building and read through a document and sign it. But both of us have been sick and the trip had to be postponed to sign the new rules document. But that´s now done and we´re ready to go back in since we have the right approval. (It´s just one of those little hangups that one has to negotiate through to do ministry here.)
Again, thank you for your prayers and support. Please continue to pray for us. This is the most important thing you can do for us.
BE BLESSED. WE LOVE YOU ALL IN JESUS.
Joseph, Cristina & Hadassa
