Brothers and Sisters in Christ/Family & Friends:

Greetings in the name of Jesus our Lord and Savior.

During the past month, we have continued to struggle with being consistent ministering to the youth in the Brazilian detention homes. Please pray for this to change. I want this to be restored to the consistency we had previously. But maybe the Lord is trying to move us in a different direction. If this is the case, please pray that He will make clear His plan and empower us to walk in it, that is, through the door that is from Him. Also, please pray that the Lord’s will and plan will be clear regarding work here. I can work here legally in the Brazilian system, but it’s been a challenge to get into a reasonable job. So we’re dealing with several challenges.

Lessons regarding trust in the Lord are an important foundation for our relationship with the Lord. There are many promises in the Psalms and throughout the OT; and also in the New Testament. (In the NT, often the term is “believe in” when referring to trust in Jesus.) But when trust in the Lord is established in our hearts and lives, He can do many things for us and in us in accordance with these promises. An example of these promises is “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. Jn. 14:12 NKJV It makes sense that if we trust in the Lord with all our hearts to lead us and live through us, that He would be freed in us to be able to do the same supernatural works in and through us that He Himself did when He walked on the earth as a man. By the Lord’s grace, I will continue to grow in this trust.

Thank you for your prayers and support. As always, the most important thing you can do for us is pray. If you would like to do more, I have a book in print called Trusting Relationship. Also, you can give on our website (or buy the book there): www.agapeofabba.com

Be blessed. We love you in Jesus.
